This "must have" was great. However, this is not the case. Which connector is the input and which is the output? You have to understand that. (The inlet is next to the handle.) It then FLOWS in "pump" mode. Collect the liquid and press the plunger handle to pump it out and it will squirt out around the pump cylinder where the outlet cap is located. The exhaust cap is the black piece away from the end of the piston. The product flowing out of the cylinder is not good. The instructions say "clean" after use. how does it break down Good question. There are no instructions for this either. If I knew I could wear something. However, both ends just twist and turn without loosening. It might be a good product, but with bad instructions and a leak after you figured it out, it's not. My mistake. I missed the return. I should have checked several times faster. :(:(I replaced it with this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072LN1T1W/ It works GOOD. Just be ready to put your finger on the end when the receptacle is full. And no unexpected/intentional leaks. ;))
