Easy to fit into my old computer tower from 2008

This faceplate with 2 USB 3.0 ports and a 3.5" cutout is perfect for my computer case I built around 2008. My old computer still runs like clockwork, but it didn't have USB 3.0 ports. I've recently started using a USB hard drive and a USB 3.0 capable flash drive, so I bought a PCIe expansion card and this front panel to upgrade my PC. The panel is plastic but feels solid. I also had a 3.5" card reader in my old PC. I put a card reader in this faceplate and it fitted perfectly. The cable and 20-pin connector are long enough to run from the front of the tower case to the to reach the back where the USB 3.0 PCIe card is installed. The 20-pin connector fits snugly into the connector on the back of the USB flash drive that is used for the front connection of other USB 3.0 ports. The 20 pin connector actually corresponds to 19 pins on both the card and the connector. There is a pin missing on the board and a pin broken off on the connector. This is necessary for correct orientation, also the card has a slot and the Connector has a raised edge so you can only plug the connector in one way.I also suggest that if you are using an expansion card, you connect it to the front of the card before inserting the card into the P Use the CIe slot, as this makes it easier to insert the connector. On the first try I inserted the blank when the card was in the PCIe slot and ended up bending the pin (which I later fixed). Also, try to insert the connector side to side instead of straight so you can feel the pins go in to prevent the pins from bending. Anyway, it was an easy DIY project that brightened up my computer. FYI, my computer is based on a 2008 ASUS LX-2 series motherboard with an Intel Quad 4 processor and 4GB of RAM. I also installed a VisionTek ATI HD 5450 graphics card in a PCIe X16 slot. The USB 3.0 card is located in the PCIe X1 slot. I am currently using the latest version of Windows 10 64bit. All device drivers are native Microsoft Windows 10 drivers.
