Let me start by saying that I have four other air cleaners. Air quality is very important to me. A special feature of this device is the air quality indicator. The device has a real-time display of indoor air quality. The light shows green, orange or red. When I first turned it on, it was orange. It has been running for 10 minutes and is now green. The device has several settings. The highest level is very loud and the low level is so quiet that I didn't even have to adjust the volume on the TV. If you don't like reading directions, stop and pay attention. Take the filter out of the plastic bag before use. I'm glad I read the instructions first! Better quality filters than any other we have. It has a pleated part but also has a white mesh around it. There is also a carbon liner. I don't know what it costs to replace filters but for now it's a great price.
