We tested it on our baby and got a wide temperature range, first 102.3, then 103.2, then 101.4. We called our doctor and of course they sounded the alarm and had us come over to check the temp again and on their gauges it was normal - 98.5. They were so concerned about the readings we had on that piece of junk at home that they took us to the ER where they again checked for 5 (!) perfectly normal temperatures while the brown was still a long way off. After 6.5 hours our baby had blood drawn, a catheter put in, nothing hurt and he had no fever. We absolutely loved this horrible product, please do not buy it.
