in the best case. I squeezed a small cardboard box in between.

The level is set and the device sags under the weight of the device (in my case the Samsung cable box). The double sided tape used on each leg to support the shelf is substandard at best. I stuffed a small cardboard between the ceiling (I use it as a riser for my kitchen TV box) and the unit to ensure the best fit for the tape on the support legs. All in all a bad buy: look for something else for DVD players etc.
