The adjustable part on it comes loose too easily. I put the collar on my kitty with the right amount of force and after about 30 minutes I could hear her moving like crazy. I checked him out and he had the collar in his mouth like a gag. The collar did not come off and got stuck. I untied it and there was blood all over the collar. The collar sawed through his gums as he tried to remove it. It's ok but I wouldn't recommend this collar for cats/kittens who aren't used to collars. He shouldn't have loosened his collar as much as he did. It's horrible to imagine what could have happened if this had happened when I wasn't home.
