This cable is EXACTLY as described. I have a 2009 VW Jetta with a poorly designed iPod dock in the armrest. iPhone is not accepted. If you use an iPod, it will only play the first 6 playlists. But this cable solves the problem. Plug it in and play the sixth track on the CD. Presto! Full access to all your music. I've seen other solutions but this cable is by far the cheapest and easiest to use. You should sell them at the VW Service Center! No, it doesn't charge an iPhone, but who cares? The noise from the RF adapter was killing me. Now my music and podcasts sound amazing and the HF converter is no longer used. I like this cable because I prefer to use a headphone jack rather than a head unit/dock connected to the radio. Using the iPhone itself gives you more control and makes things easier, and unlike some Bluetooth head units and settings, the audio doesn't cut out when you get a call. It was also delivered quickly. Thank you!
