This cable fits an old iPhone 4 connector I installed in my car. I plug this cable into an old connector and plug it into the headphone jack on my iPhone 6. It works great and the sound is as expected. I waited a week for it to arrive but I knew it would take time. I wish I had known about this product a year ago. It works great in my 2009 VW Jetta which has an iPod interface in the center armrest. The factory iPod interface required you to control your iPod/iPhone through the car stereo's CD changer and was a nightmare to navigate.
