I received the instructions, calibrated according to the instructions and used them according to the instructions. No complaints. I don't know how accurate that is and I can't guess. The tap water seems a bit alkaline, the meter says in range 8, but I can't tell if that's true or not. My plants should be kept in the 6 range and accordingly we stay between 6.25. and 6.8 and everything is thriving as far as I can tell. I got it because one day our tap water was very acidic and I poured it into my hydroponic garden and it killed everything within a day. Tomatoes and beans had to be discarded and restarted along with the greens, the beans and tomatoes bloomed, which was very annoying. No matter how "accurate" it is, it should be avoided with a meter, so it's ok.
