My Aquarium - Zoo Med from the pet shop with sliding lid. The lid was too small to fit on the existing frame. And the sizes are a little smaller than stated. So I decided to remove the top frame using a spatula and an elbow. The bezel was covered in foam so it wasn't too difficult to remove, but it took a while to snap off. After removing it I cleaned the tank and cut the glass badly so my advice is to seal the edges with tape first. After it was clean I sealed the sharp edges with tape and then fitted a new cover. It was a little wide at the back, but it sat flat. Now that there was no frame to attach the mounting brackets to, I sealed it with tape on the sides and front. The snake will be very reliable because I could not pick it up with slight jerks. And if for some reason I need to remove the entire top, I can just stick it back on. It looks really great and I'm really glad I didn't have to send the top back. There isn't one with the right dimensions anyway. In terms of quality, it felt a little wobbly before putting it on, but not too bad once it was on. My overweight cat is the next test. He's the reason I'm in this mess.
