These are comfortable but much thinner than I had imagined they'd be. The material feels more like a cotton blend than pure cotton, but I have not burn-tested to be certain. After washing they felt soft still, and I have not noticed any pilling. The waistband does get a little bunchy.They are nice to wear around the house but I found they ran a little too small so were tighter than I would have liked.
