I purchased the 18x18 envelopes and the colors are very consistent with how they appear in the photos. The fabric is soft and has a very thin, flat elastic that adds texture to the look and feel. They have a mini zip and zips under the hood at the end of the zip. The tailoring quality is high. The product manual recommends using 20x20 pads for these 18x18 cases to give them a fuller look. I did, but felt that the 20x20 pillows made them over-inflated. Also, fitting the 20x20 pillows into the 18x18 covers was a bit tricky. I then bought some 18x18 pillows and they are perfect, making for a pillow with some padding; without excess fabric around the edges. Those who have complained about these cases are unfair to the fact that this is a great product.
