I bought my chair specifically to fold compactly and fit in the trunk of my small sports car to take to shows and be comfortable and didn't have to crawl out of like you would a bag type chair. This chair filled those needs easily. The folding and unfolding takes some practice, it seems a bit stiff initially but I expect it to loosen up a little with use. It isn't a light chair but then it has a very convenient carrying handle when you do have to carry it anywhere. It's very easy to get out of attributed to the seat height and the fact it doesn't sag leaving you feeling like you're sitting in a hole. You just lean forward a bit and stand up. The table with the drink holder that unfolds from the side is an added bonus. I ended up getting another and they fit nicely side by side in the trunk of my Miata even leaving a little room. I'm very happy and glad I paid a bit more for something that seems like it might last awhile.
