This is exactly what I expected and needed for my eyeshadow palettes and fits on any shelf for standard rectangular palettes. You can move the shelves but I didn't feel the need. It looks a bit cheap but hey it was cheap so I'm very happy with it. Two things I don't really like, the middle seems to be a bit higher than the sides so it likes to rotate a bit but I haven't flipped it yet. Although I don't think it will fall. Mine also had a chip on the corner (pictured) but I'm keeping it because it's hidden and I don't care enough to trade it in. I found a small piece that came loose with the packaging which means it was probably damaged during shipping or shipping and it's not the seller's fault. All in all, I'm glad I got it
