I don't drive a pickup truck off-road, but the pickup has to travel through a lot of unpaved, rutted roads logging and deer camps. (Maybe that's why I needed new ones in the first place.) These special wheel hubs are just great. Most of them are "easy to install," which is code word for "a little smaller," and what happens is new camps get beaten to death. These Detroit axle hubs have such good tolerances that I had to disassemble the first one and be more careful cleaning the dirt from the holder. It is necessary to have a brake cleaner and a brass brush. They come with a light oil finish and pre-installed rivets, which is a nice touch. I've seen several reviews complaining that they are noisy, but they aren't. Rolling noises after a hub repair arise because the tires from the previous set are already worn. Either get new tires or endure the noise until your tires get a more reasonable shape. Also, pay close attention to the torque of the axle nut during assembly - if you can afford the time, fit the axle nut, tighten and retighten after a few miles of riding. You'll be glad you did.
