Review on Folding knife Cold Steel Luzon Large black by Janis Saikovskis ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A practical product, nothing to complain about.

Brutal big knife. The reverse side is the size of the handle. Too protruding from the back of the palm (or front, depending on how you hold it). The body of the knife bends by hand, despite the steel dies. That is, if the wedge is not centered, you can not tighten the axial screw. And just bend the knife body in the other direction, and the wedge will be in the center;) The lock has a latch, but with a piercing blow, the liner can bend in the other direction, jamming the blade. The knife will not fold arbitrarily, but then it will be very problematic to fold it forcibly. A branded triad lock would be perfect for such a knife, but it is not on this model . Of the pluses - brass bearings (as opposed to plastic on the younger brother - the medium). Bottom line: a knife for an amateur. Bolshevik for every day, rather weak for "survival". Something like this.

Pros
  • Size matters!
Cons
  • Lock.
