so quite a bit to help those who bought this item believe me it works all i did was take my original shift knob off. And what I did was I measured it so you had to cut a piece of the rubber grip that came with the item and when you applied it you put the rubber in a long piece that goes all the way . lower. This will be very snug and not move when loose. In general, you don't have to screw anything, just remove the top part of the handle, which comes out when you turn it.
