Insanely bright - I bought 18 watt off-road fog lights - single row, 6.25 inches long and 1.75 inches high. I bought these as taillights for my Jeep Wrangler. I've installed a rear view camera and also replaced the stock taillights with JW speaker LEDs, but I still can't see clearly from behind. I tested them straight away with a standard 9 volt battery - photos attached - and they're insanely bright. I gave them a star for the hardware - the bolts aren't stainless steel and the threads weren't right with one of the nuts aligned - no washers for the side mounting bolts and the bracket is too big to fit snugly in the lantern - the sides flex when you tighten the nuts. I would prefer a mounting bracket that is the right width to attach to the back of the light without bending the attachment points when tightened as one side will always flex more than the other. Look at the picture with the mount - you can see how the "legs" of the mount flex to keep the light steady, long story short - I'm going to Home Depot tomorrow for stainless washers for the sides and mids as well as stainless screws and get nuts. I believe they will work for my needs and the lights themselves appear to be of good quality.
