Review on 💡 Sidekick Duo Light and Motion by Eduardo Locke

This was my second purchase of a Sidekick Duo product. I used the first one on my GoPro Hero 3+ for about 3 years and had to replace it because I got the Hero 8 and the screws on the mount were too corrosive for me to remove the mount from the Hero 3+. The old and new Sidekick Duo worked flawlessly. However, the paint on the newer duo (purchased October 2020) began severely chipping in March 2021. I emailed Light & Motion and got a new light. I typically use light as a source to highlight the subject in a photo or video, rather than illuminating the subject. The wide beam works great on underwater walls and the spotlight is powerful enough to get really deep into cracks and coral holes.
