As for problems with the screen, I personally do not notice them in everyday use, but indeed the defect appears if you put a dark background and turn the brightness slider. I found out about the presence of this problem only a few months later, wandering into the forum. Therefore, when buying, do not be lazy, turn on the device before paying, it is possible that the manifestation of this problem on different devices is expressed with different strengths. In the presence of a keyboard (sold separately) in dex mode it turns into such a non-notebook, on which, in general, you can even work. The Dex mode is a bit damp, some of the children's problems were fixed with the ate, but the terrible selection and copying of text remained, but it's still much more convenient to use than in tablet mode. In terms of autonomy, it can withstand 8 hours calmly, with intensive use, including video, games, work with google sheets in the browser. I can’t say anything about working with the S Pen, it’s good that I have it, I rarely use it, usually for photo editing. I bought the device to replace the iPad Pro 11, the key factor was the inability to fight ads on the latter (partially excluding the Safari browser), which is already through measures everywhere. Also in working matters, tab s6 proved to be more suitable.
