Cricut is way better

This was the first time I bought any kind of craft machine. I am quite tech savvy and can easily understand programming, machines and design. This car was just awful. When it was cut it was beautiful. However, one of the main problems was using the print and cut function. He never read the registration marks properly. I had to try thousands of times, turn off the machine, edit my projects, manually register my markers and nothing. So much time and material wasted. I contacted the chat only support team (stupid!) and they tried to help to no avail. Something is wrong with the reader on the device. Machine bug #1. Another huge problem is that their program is not up to date and there are new blades that they advertise with cameo 4. All I wanted to do was cut chipboard. Well, with new knives for chipboard, there is no adjustment and the machine will not cut. I kept contacting support, couldn't get any further after business hours. You need to update the program there. The third serious disadvantage of this machine are the cumbersome blades to use. They are plastic and you have to be careful to press them very carefully, why? Too much effort for such a simple thing. After all, that's how much money you have to shell out for clipart. They have a subscription fee plus a per image fee. Again why? It's selling so well, but it's lacking in the main. And it's such a lie that you don't need a cutting mat, your project will be destroyed if you don't use it. Needless to say, I got that back after weeks of trying and struggling with this machine. I bought Cricut Maker with subscription access. Overall, Cricut is 100,000 times better. Your machine is solid with metal magnetic blades and you get so many free pictures with a subscription. I bought a saw blade for chipboard, it cuts perfectly. For a quick comparison, the only good thing about Cameo is that their program is easier to use (but limited) and the machine cuts much faster (but horribly). So save yourself the frustration and go with Cricut. This has been tested and works correctly.

Pros
  • Cameo 4 differs from previous models with a new dual motor system that lets you cut in two different ways. The number one bottom bracket gives the Cameo 4 unmatched speed. It is powered by a magnetic motor that ensures a smooth and complex cut. Cameo 4 can cut or draw three times faster than previous models without sacrificing accuracy. The second car is powered by a completely different type of engine that offers unprecedented performance.
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly
