Review on Isolator Audiophile Frequency Without Distortion by Matthew Peterson

I thought it was a great adapter. It did exactly what it promised and sounded good. Did an excellent job of noise reduction in my car stereo. After about 2-3 months of use it started to shorten even though I literally never moved it! I plugged it into my center console and it stayed untouched there until I noticed it turning on and off. It would be very quiet and I would have to press it to pick up the signal enough to hear it. Then it got so bad I just had to remove it so I could even hear the noise. I don't know if it was a bad batch or if this is the standard for them. I am not sure I will buy another one from this company due to the cheap production. It was a great product until it disappeared. I think it should last longer than it did. I think the weak link is the little guide line that comes off of it. There's the short one. I wish it was just a female aux connector that I could plug my own aux cable into (and replace if something like that happens). Unfortunately it is not removable and when this happens the entire product becomes unusable. UPDATE 1: I contacted support about the issue and they were very nice and agreed to send me a replacement as there is a 1 year guarantee. on the product. I will upgrade my rating from 2 to 3 stars based on the good experience and if I get a replacement I will update the rating again with the result. UPDATE 2 (as promised): Although the shipping took about 2 weeks, I received a replacement product. So far this has worked well. I appreciate a company that honors their product warranty and I have had no excuses from them. The customer service in general was a good experience for me and therefore I can recommend it to all potential customers. For that I'm raising the stars to 4. I can't say for sure if I just got a bad one or if it will happen again, but so far in a few months of use I haven't had any problems with the new adapter.
