The tape itself works, the thickness seems to be promised. The clutch is soft compared to trusted brands like 3M, Scotch or Duck. It tends to form stronger bubbles when applied, therefore the adhesive is weaker than brand name adhesive. Another problem is its weak and soft core. The packaging was great, but it pressed on the soft core, causing the core to deform. It takes a little effort to get it back into a workable round core so it stays properly on the ribbon manifold. After switching on, it does not remain in the center of the moving base for long; the soft core tends to warp and often slip out, interfering with tape dispensing. It either gets caught on the front end of the ribbon manifold or just curls up and sticks to itself; wasting tape. I think one of the reviewers has already uploaded photos of a weak or soft core that is easily deformed.
