Firstly, the packaging clearly states "Hardware and template included". My box was sealed accurately at the factory and no templates or fasteners were found inside. I connected this speaker to an amplifier, applied a 100Hz sine wave signal, hooked up a reference microphone to an oscilloscope, and began looking for distortion while increasing the power output. In short, this speaker is capable of delivering up to 25W of power. Above this power, distortion becomes very noticeable. These are not RMS, "musical" or "PMPO" watts. These are simple watts calculated using Ohm's Law formula. So keep that observation in mind if you're considering buying this woofer. Anyway, I wasn't expecting maximum performance from this speaker and it's very good for the price it's worth.
