Review on 🦊 Protect Your Dough with Fox Run Rolling Pin Covers, Cotton, Set of 2 by Renea Lay

The best way to roll out pie dough.

I highly recommend these wipes. I've tried other brands over the years and these are by far the best. I've used similar fabrics with my wooden rolling pin to make perfect cake bases for decades - and they really work! No need to go crazy keeping the dough ice cold when rolling out the cakes, no need to deal with sticky dough or flying flour. However, there are two tricks: You should use a rolling pin cloth in combination with a baking sheet on your work surface for maximum benefit. You should both flour, but not as aggressively as you have to with a bare rolling pin and a work surface. Works like a charm, I promise! Napkins work just as well for cookie dough. Another handy tip: you don't need to buy a special baking sheet. I've always used clean cotton tea towels for baking and they work really well. With a couple of old kitchen towels for this purpose, I don't have to wash them after every bake, and the napkins are easy to clean: just pop the floured rolling pin and pastry napkins into a large ziplock bag after baking, and if you have a few sets of dirty rags , toss them in a separate load and wash in cold water. Light!
