Good quality material.

I just gave my grandniece my mother's many year old rolling pin. I knew she would appreciate it and that my mother would approve. I didn't have a case for it so I ordered them. It's great to get two so I might give my sister one for her rolling pin. Good quality material.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Makes me angry

Not for lefse on rolling pins

Chances are if you do lefse you will eventually need to replace the cotton covers. I will say they will NOT fit the rolling pins used to make blades without much grumbling and shrugging and you will break them. They don't stretch far enough for the large rolling pins Lefse uses. I was very disappointed. On a regular rolling pin, this will probably work just fine.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Expensive

It works like a charm and allows you to roll out the dough.

Last weekend I used one of these for the first time to roll out the cake into 66 cupcake sized tarts. You simply slide this tube over the rolling pin and dust it with flour before rolling out the dough. It works like a charm and allows you to roll out the dough much thinner without sticking to the rolling pin. I highly recommend it. At first I thought I'd trim it with scissors, but I found that the ridge didn't interfere with rolling out the dough and even made it easier to adjust the lid.

Pros
  • Doping πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Will write later

This product is NOT 16 inches long and even if I could put it on a pin it would be a lot shorter. Weak, too small, and there was a beautiful shiny dark hair in the product packaging. Purchase a tube sock for larger rolling pins. it works! Made in the USA at Revain USA Sport Men's 9-15 Cotton Athletic Socks are perfect for my 3" rolling pin with 15" roll (total length 24"). Just cut a hole in the middle of the toe and voila, a super -duper rolling pin cover!

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Out of fashion

The best way to roll out pie dough.

I highly recommend these wipes. I've tried other brands over the years and these are by far the best. I've used similar fabrics with my wooden rolling pin to make perfect cake bases for decades - and they really work! No need to go crazy keeping the dough ice cold when rolling out the cakes, no need to deal with sticky dough or flying flour. However, there are two tricks: You should use a rolling pin cloth in combination with a baking sheet on your work surface for maximum benefit. You should…

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Can hurt
