Review on πŸ”‘ OCPTY 1X Lexus RX300 Remote Key Fob Replacement for 1999-2003 - Uncut Entry Transmitter: ADP12548701S N14TMTX-1 by Tom Lantz

The immobilizer could not be programmed, although the remote control may have failed.

What I liked: The price would be very good (if it worked). The REMOTE was very easy to program, despite the confusing way of doing it I programmed it the first time. try What I didn't like: The immobilizer is NOT to be programmed The instructions are simple (especially compared to programming the remote control) Master key (do not turn), press accelerator pedal 5 times, press brake pedal 6 times , remove master key, insert programming key, accelerator pedal once press, wait 60 seconds, the flashing light should stop flashing in this time, and if it does, it's programmed, done. I tried programming the immobilizer exactly following these instructions (which several people did live on YouTube so you know how it should work in the RX300) and gave up after 10 tries. The thing is, you can hear EXACTLY when the vehicle enters and exits its programming mode because there are distinct clicks coming from somewhere in the nose compartment and they match. Immediately after inserting the new key, a click will be heard, and after about 40 seconds, a second click will be heard. It really shouldn't be returned because I had to pay to have the key made BEFORE I could try to program the key. Immobilizer and I will have to make the exact same new one. Maybe my device has a bad RFID chip or some technology they use, but basically I now have a really expensive remote key fob that has "only one door". The key is attached to it. This is very bad. This would be a great product if it worked.
