A good genuine leather wallet doesn't wear out, it only retires when it becomes an aesthetic embarrassment. I have just received this Cappiano wallet and I hope it will last as long as the old wallet it is replacing. I'm not a leather expert so I can't say for sure if the ad is full grain, although I suspect it is. I have some concerns because one of the wallets has a sewn in tag that says '100% Genuine Leather' which usually means an incomplete grain. The time will show. The color of the wallet I received "Cognac" is a much darker dark brown than shown in the photo in the ad. Not even close. The photo is more brown and reddish (mahogany) while the actual wallet is very dark brown, closer to the black wallet also pictured. However, it looks good. Quality and workmanship appear to be good.
