One of those things you buy and hope you never have to use. This is a well built and beautifully designed emergency rescue tool that I have fitted to all my cars and plan to buy more as gifts for family and friends. Easy to install and unobtrusive like other emergency tools on the market. Very happy and like I said I hope I never have to use it. Oh, regarding some of the 2 star ratings and negative reviews, this tool is not designed or advertised for diving. As a diver, you should be aware that there are over 150 types of stainless steel. Movements exposed to extreme (salt) water typically use the most corrosion-resistant (very highly chrome-plated) stainless steel version. Due to the nature of this tool and its intended use, it would not be economically viable to use such a high quality and expensive stainless steel version. If they did, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be able to offer it at such an affordable price. So if you've used this tool underwater, especially in salt water, and it's rusty, it's not the manufacturer's or the product's fault, it's your own fault, as you might have guessed. Also, this device is not intended for cutting glass, but helps to break it. Cutting and breaking glass requires two different approaches, and the material used is also very different. If you want to cut glass, buy a glass cutter. If you use this device to cut other materials such as wires, cables, cable ties, etc., you can most likely damage the cutting edge of the tool. Again, it's not meant for that purpose. So if you're going to use it for something other than what it's advertised for, don't be surprised if you screw up the tool. It's a little weird how many negative or 1 star reviews are all from those who have abused this tool. Then, as if they have been scammed, leave an unfair review. This is a tool that should really only be used in emergencies. It has two very specific purposes and use in an environment or property for which it is not intended could damage or render this device inoperative.
