I use the straps for bike transport and skiing. I originally bought them because the straps are wider than voile ski straps and I thought they would be more versatile for my purposes, which turned out to be true. Wider shoulder straps are not as comfortable on a bike as there isn't much room on the bike. You just have to think more about where to tighten the straps. It would be nice if I had a set of straps of different lengths. I want to use the straps for everyday use but the 25" straps are too long. One tricky thing is using the locking system. It takes some practice to tighten the straps but once you get the hang of it you're good to go.
