The knife wears out fairly quickly and the scale with a wider front end is impractical. The bark also has a blue film to protect it. but it's a bitch to go over the edge. I think they cut the steel with the foil and the foil melts to the brim. It took me about 10 minutes to take everything off. It was annoying but didn't bother me. The price and the retractable handle are pretty steep. Haven't used the full length yet but it's strong enough that I'm sure it will work well in a lower position. Overall: very happy with the purchase.
