We recently converted our crib to a toddler bed and there was a big gap where the side rail ended. I was afraid that my son would fall out at night. He likes to wander around his bed while he sleeps. He slept wonderfully without the corset but as a nervous first time mom I wanted to make sure he stayed in his crib without suffering the trauma of falling out in the middle of the night. I was looking for a bumper that would serve its purpose not only at home but also when travelling. I also wanted to make sure it was well made for the price. We are very happy with this bumper since we received it. It comes vacuum sealed so you'll have to wait a bit for it to air out and reach its full size. It's easy to install: just place it under the fitted sheet and you're good to go. It folds up when you're on the go and packs down pretty well for travel. This has kept my son comfortable and secure in his bed and we are very happy with our purchase. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't fully fit the edge of our crib. It's about 6 inches shorter, but the railing on the other side keeps it from falling, so it doesn't matter.
