? The package I received contained Taiyo Yuden's new Old Stock CDs (good stuff) with a max speed of 48x. Writes great on a 2012 SATA CD burner and reads on older systems like the Power Macintosh 7300. (I'd check with a Quadra 630 but it's in memory.) I don't know why other browsers are having problems, but maybe It still is. Several different brands of discs are packaged under this label and I've been lucky. Update: After checking the serial number online, I was able to determine that these drives were manufactured around December 2006. I also ran one of the disks by opening imgburn. mode and make sure the drives are old and near the end of their useful life. The rating has been updated to reflect this.
