This dipstick TOOL works great. Beware of people who wrote bad reviews, you don't know how to use this probe tool. The GAUGE TOOL is only used to check the liquid level! Not designed to remain in the dipstick tube. You also don't really need this TOOL unless you're servicing your transmission. If there is no leak, it should be full. Gear oil is not like engine oil, it does not burn. Maintain your transmission according to the service intervals and you should be fine. Also happy that they make a TOOL like this. The new 8 and 9 speed transmissions have a GAUGE TOOL. They use a specific procedure in the service manual to check the fluid level.
