Should be easy to install except the 3/4 male thread is kinda misaligned making it very difficult to achieve waterproofing Seal is the discharge side. I have not crossed the thread. I've manually screwed in a few fittings on this pump to no avail. After one and a half turns it is no longer possible without the force of the pliers. The second problem. When the flow sensor is on, it will not turn off. So you shower and it definitely improves the water pressure, but then when you dry off you can hear that basement pump chugging from the second floor even though the flow has stopped. It should turn on when the water turns on and turn off when the water comes out, but that hasn't happened for me. The pump got very hot so I just turned it off. I tried it a second time but now I'm getting it back.
