I live and do physical work in the Caribbean - 13 years through my middle ages in loose boxers has had the undesired effect of of lowering my rear undercarriage more than my front. Support is needed, but not at the expense of being hot, sweaty and prone to jock itch, which can happen with other tight fitting or pure cotton briefs. These are light, supportive without being overly tight and clingy, and the material itself has a mesh with lots of micro holes to help breathing. Best underwear I've found yet. I'm a 36" in Hurley/Quicksilver board shorts, but went a size larger than my chart up to the XL. Perfect.
