This is false and/or misleading advertising. It's not exactly a "street cam". While the camera itself can be weatherproof, the power cord is not weatherproof and is only about 10 inches long. Also, the power adapter and cord are only about 10 feet long. To use this "outdoors" the camera must be placed in a location where you can run a 10" cable into an area protected from the weather. If you intend to place the camera more than 10 feet from a suitable electrical outlet, you will not be able to use it (regardless of the unprotected outlet that is 10 inches from the camera). POE (Power Over Ethernet) circuit to be a real outdoor camera. Weatherproof Ethernet ports are available.
