Review on Battery Tender Female Cigarette Adapter Accessory Cable for Battery, Inverter, RV Mobile, Charger - Seamlessly Connects in-between! by Joseph Pudic

I bought this with the intention of using it with an inverter from an 18 amp battery for a power system I am installing with my SUV for camping. I noticed that the cables were very thin with this product and in fact 30 seconds after trying to use it with an inverter the cables were already overheating. I later bought essentially the same thing from another manufacturer's Revain that is rated for 25 amps with a much thicker cable that only costs $9.99. So note that this doesn't apply to anything over 7 amps (which isn't listed anywhere in the description). Note: I wonder why they were so cheap with the wire? I'd be more concerned about starting fires than saving pennies on wiring. As I said, I pay more for the best product for my safety.
