Review on ๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ CANDLE WARMERS ETC Weathered White Wooden Farmhouse Lantern Candle Warmer for Efficient Top-Down Candle Melting by Jaclyn King

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Aurora style and Lantern style

I love these things. We own three. This is definitely what you need if you want the scent of your favorite candles to fill your home. Safer and cleaner than burning a candle - no flame and no soot. And your candles will literally live forever when using these heaters. 4 stars for the wooden lantern style. Aurora style is definitely 5 stars. For a wooden lantern style model, using shorter candles (whether by Yankee Candle, Bath & Body Works, White Barn, etc.) will overpower the light. Basically, all of these places sell shorter candles and taller candles. We've been buying shorter candles for years, ever since we got our first candle heater because candles with the heater last forever. You don't have to pay more for larger candles. The wooden lantern style is warmer because the light is much higher than the shorter candle, it doesn't melt as much as the aurora style. Thus, not much aroma is released. This is not an issue with the Aurora style heating pad as the product is not as large (although it still works well for larger candles). So, in the style of the wooden lanterns, I simply placed some soapstone coasters under the candle jar to elevate it closer to the light. Problem solved. It melts a lot more and gives more flavor. In addition, the cable on this model is quite short. On a countertop it wouldn't be a problem if the outlet was close to where you plan to place the lantern, but if you're placing it on a table next to an outlet you may need an extension cord. Despite these issues, it looks great.
