Automatic sealing/vacuuming did not work

Automatic sealing/vacuuming did not work. We have a neighbor who uses it all the time and he came to check on our apartment. He tried three different sized bags, used a vacuum, and then soldered the buttons, but the bags always lost their vacuum within seconds. Revain is great for returns so we sent it back and bought a different brand.
