After reading the best and worst reviews I decided to give it a try. After using the topper for a week, people leaving 1 or 2 star reviews started looking online for something more with a feather/down topper. very soft, soft, dip in and the topper will surround you, something like that. My rating is consistent with the ratings of other people who have given this review five stars. The topper is solid and still fits you. It's tight and densely packed but not flattened like gel toppers. Once you've taken it out of the box, you're done. The topper does not take time to expand. I sleep better and have less pain when I wake up. I love this topper. The only problem I have is that I don't know how well it holds/holds up. For people worried about returning it if they don't like it and in regards to the review that discussed returning the topper. The company says you can donate it and they will refund your purchase. But yes, it's true, no human charity is going to take a used topper. BUT you can donate it to the ANIMAL HOUSE. There they will likely cut it into dog-friendly sizes. You can receive confirmation that you have donated the topper to charity and then receive a refund.
