I was looking for motion sensor lights to install in a small kitchen pantry where there was no light (stupid builder). i found this I preferred them to those that required batteries. I didn't want to keep changing batteries without knowing how long they would last. this can become prohibitively expensive. They seemed to fit the bill as I was able to charge them for as long as the batteries lasted, hopefully a few years. They are very easy to install. I can easily detach the flashlight from its wall-mounted magnetic base and take it to another room to charge. They were only installed a few weeks ago and have not yet needed to be charged (after the initial charge). So I can't say how often they need to be charged. I ended up installing lights on the side wall of the pantry, one light for each shelf. Four shelves, four lamps. Since the shelves are filled with canned goods and the like, not much light gets through to the other shelves, hence one light source per shelf. There isn't much light, but enough to see much better than before. When I open the door they don't come on. However, when I put my hand in the closet, the light comes on. Works well. They turn off about 15 seconds after the door is closed. Since they worked well, I bought another one and installed it in a spice cabinet near the oven, which was also a bit dark. you are doing great work Obviously the issue of durability hasn't been accepted yet, so time will tell. So far, so good.
