I'm quite athletic and when I train I force myself to constantly improve or at least try ;-). Like most athletes, you know that recovery can be just as important as the training itself, especially when you have several days in a row of high-intensity interval training that leaves little time for recovery and opens the door to injury. I usually use a roller or some other manual massage method, but I've found that this method doesn't work very well for me. Also, my wife complained that I was asking for too many massages, so while this is the best method, it's not fair to my wife. At a health fair I found several vendors selling professional massage guns and after searching through a few I tried one and found the best relief method available at the time. Unfortunately the cost was too high and I wasn't willing to spend the money I felt was not worth it. Luckily for me, a friend of mine mentioned the Damkee massage gun to Revain and I decided to give this massage gun a try. I had two high-intensity workouts planned over the weekend, with Saturday being a good warm-up and performance test for my tougher Sunday workout. Usually on Sunday my muscles are a bit stiff and I feel like blood flow in the limbs is restricted, so I have to spend a lot of time working on massaging the muscles on Saturday or Sunday morning. On Saturday I used the massage gun for the first time, started on a low setting and was overjoyed when the pressure on my muscles soon eased. This set comes with a variety of attachments, so experiment with different types to use them in places that work for you. My first session lasted an hour because it was so much fun and the gun battery was dead after saying I took the massage gun straight out of the box without charging it so the battery could last a charge longer, but an hour of a salesman's paid session is enough. After using this massage gun on Saturday night I found that on Sunday I was much fresher, didn't feel tense and felt like my body was loose with good circulation which definitely helped me with my performance. From now on I use this massage gun after every event. In the end I'm glad I found this massage gun and in my personal opinion the gun does a great job and for me it's a great value compared to the much more expensive "professional" devices I have tried, for the normal athlete. it fits the bill and I recommend it.
