I was looking for solar powered projection lamps to replace my holiday light projector (plug in). I couldn't find anything that even remotely matched the intensity and versatility of this light. Until I bought these and bought a second pair a day later. They emit about 25 feet of light and slowly change color (pattern) in a beautiful prism-like design. The colors are rich and intense. Most point lights glow in a single color with no lighting effect or color change, but they have no "effect" other than creating lots of shadows, which I personally don't like. They have edges that as the light shines through it throws that kaleidoscope prism slowly changing the color scheme back up. You can't set a color scheme for it, which is one of the downsides, but having low and high options (low extends the light through the night) is a bonus. Not sure about durability yet as I've had it for about a week now. Their assembly took less than a minute (for ground spikes). The light and solar panel can only move up and down, not sideways. The nut was a little difficult to put on on one of them, but the other was very quick and easy. My advice: buy at least two pairs and enjoy the light show!
