Makes loud noises. I bought a whole batch of

. I've used them in the past and they work well. They start making noises by splashing the water. They only make noise when you clean them. So you won't miss it in any way if it really works. One of the alarm clocks rang today reminding me to leave a review. I could come from another floor. It's worth getting notified from home in the event of a leak. This is not smart water leak detection. But it works
