Review on 🎨 Arteza Empty Watercolor Palette Tin, 48-Piece Half Pans, Ideal Travel Watercolor Set with Watercolor Paints by Kelsey Brown

Attention buyers

I bought this box to expand my colors and add a new and different palette but after careful consideration I will be returning it. The locking ring on the bottom attaches through OPEN holes in the metal. Water and paint can leak out. Likewise, water, dirt, etc. can get into the case (not great with a travel suitcase or even when moving from one place to another - a color error can mean the color stays where you least expect it). I also suspect it will be a rust problem. And the holes in the bottom make the center mixing wells unusable (when you take out the 1/2 tray holder). And the 1/2 bowls themselves aren't standard size, they're a bit larger and definitely cheap plastic. If you have other toilet sets, you CANNOT change the pans. (I've been painting for 50 years and have been a customer of the world's largest art supply store. I've always been able to switch trays from one set to another.) Fold out tray with 8 angled mixing bins does not fully open and lays flat. As a result, the indentations are inclined towards the large open area of the panel. Any paint or water put into the fountain will spurt right out, rendering all 8 fountains useless. You can tilt the whole box to prevent this, but then the 4 large mixing holes on the lid become useless. You can also bend the hinge to tilt the tray properly, but then the entire box may not close. All in all, this is NOT a professional pallet box. There are issues, so I wouldn't recommend it even to an amateur. I do NOT recommend this.
