Review on Starrett 3020 4 Toolmakers Stainless Square by Jim Booth
Fine workmanship and precision
Meets the same high standards as other Starrett Toolmaker angle series. I believe the Master Precision series is even better and made in America. But at 2 1/2 times the price, it's only worth it for the most discerning mechanic. For me, this square is more than adequate for tool setting and woodworking. I bought this in addition to my 6" Toolmaker Square because the smaller size is better for fine marking and checking joined edges for squareness. This is probably overkill for most tree operations. Square specifically for carpenters.
