Well it worked great for a trip. I suspect my heated vest was drawing too much power for this tiny device. Otherwise I looked perfect in every way; It was small, easy to use, regulated the vest's temperature for about a ride, then melted in the middle and ran at full power by default. There are still nice lights but is otherwise unusable. I went from joy to confusion. Maybe other users have better luck. I don't think it's infant mortality. Such a small device just can't handle the power demands of a heated vest, at least not the one I have, although admittedly it's quite old.
