Frustrated, they keep breaking shortly after sticking.

I love the size and the way they rotate, it's just what I need. However, I am frustrated that they keep breaking off shortly after gluing. It's very embarrassing when this happens to a buyer. Did I just receive a bad batch? I used four and broke two out of four. I'm hesitant and afraid to use others on the client only to break them shortly after applying. Later annoyed and frustrated. Please help!
