I use these crates for carrying groceries on a collapsible dolly. They are too short for the 1-gallon water bottles, but if you only have the one crate it's do-able. It can hold 4 of them, but be careful because that's about the maximum weight limit of the crates. The fold-up feature enables convenient storage in my small apartment. When folded, I use them for a towel drying rack, since they are plastic they won't rust and the air can pass through somewhat.
